This breed has been used in Australia as a cattle herding dog. Used by cattlemen to drive wild cattle, this strong willed dog would aggressively bite the heels of the cattle. These dogs have been used to protect the homes and families that they served. Because of their aggressive nature, they are not to be trusted with unknown people.
