Coat: Thick; dense short undercoat
Color: Black and tan; red and tan

The Beauceron is an excellent sheep dog. It can be found throughout Europe. When trained, two dogs can handle 200 to 300 sheep. This breed is an aggressive hunter that trusts no stranger. When trained carefully, this breed has excellent guard dog instincts. Children of the master are well protected and loved by the Beauceron.
