The Airedale Terrier is an intelligent, reliable dog who hunts and secures
its property and likes nothing but just being a companion. Training an Airedale
Terrier is very easy because it responds extremely well to obedience. They can
be a hard working dog yet still find time to love and play with children.
Their height is approx. 23" (58 cm) while the females are slightly shorter. The
Airedale Terrier weight ranges from 45-60 lbs (20.5-27 kg). They have a wiry,
hard coat. The undercoat is shorter and denser. Colors are tan and black.
Grooming is required which include "hand stripping" or the occasional trimming
to maintain the distinguished terrier-look.
