A fast, powerful and fearless sight hound, this breed has been used to hunt deer in the Scottish Highlands. A close relative to the Greyhound, this breed requires room to run. When used as a companion dog, it has proven to be intelligent, calm and gentle. Because of its large size, the owner needs to be in control. This breed can tolerate long periods of time outside.
